  • Getting past the focus on ‘behavior’. At the end of the day, it’s about building Relationship,

    the foundation for healthy Belonging and

    the space to ‘draw out’ from our children that which their Creator has deposited in them.

    The Nurtured Heart approach equips us as parents

    to refocus our energy from identifying where things are ‘going wrong’, to where they are going right. It’s much more than ‘good job’ and a pat on the back.

    It’s about identifying and energizing the areas where our children are walking well... such as self-control, excellence, perseverance, etc. Bringing these to light through affirmative words and connection stirs value, hope, and purpose in our children. The shared reward ‘is us’: our attention and interaction, resulting in our children being seen and heard for who they are more than who they are not.

  • The Seven Principles Workshop is based on the internationally acclaimed research of Dr. John Gottman as presented in his New York Times bestselling book — The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.

    It’s specifically designed to help couples nurture their trust & friendship, steward their emotions, and grow their conversation and communication skills.

    The workshop includes training, demonstrations, videos and private couples’ exercises. The activities are fun, insightful and informative. This is not therapy, so there is no need to worry about airing personal issues. There is time for group feedback of insights gained.

    Beyond the workshop itself, we will be providing light refreshments for you to enjoy.
